March 25, 2020, 7:51pm, Anchorage, AK- On behalf of the APC Board of Directors- Trefon Angasan, Fred T Angasan, Carvel Zimin Jr., Gerda Kosbruk, Gary Nielsen, John Holm, Terry Mann, Shirley Nielsen and Terry Wassillie, Alaska Peninsula Corporation hereby announces a $5 per share distribution to all shareholders.
The Board of Directors appreciates the dire financial stress caused by the international response to COVID-19, and wishes to ensure all shareholders that we are proactively doing all we can to alleviate the burden of stress caused by this novel disease.
Certain elements of the Corporation have been impacted by State and Federal mandates that restrict business operations. As such, the executive management team continues to maintain functional operations through telecommuting and digital communications. We are proud to say, the management of APC remains solid and without compromise.
Finally, we appreciate the hard work and dedication made by management and staff. It is through their effort and diligent management that this distribution is made possible.
Distributions shall be made in approximately 45 days minimum- the amount of time required by trust managers.
